        Mercy University is seeking adjunct instructors for the Computer Science program. The adjunct instructor will teach course(s) in the Master of Science program in Computer Science. Each course will be worth 3 credits and it will include teaching theory and any necessary labs in the course, keeping track of student attendance, grading, and student advisement.

        Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

        • Teach the content of the course, including theory and any necessary labs
        • Keep track of student attendance
        • Grading of assignments, projects, tests, and exams
        • Student advising as necessary

        Required Skills & Experience:

        Industry work experience, research experience and/or prior teaching experience in the Computer Science area

        Education Requirements:

        A terminal (doctoral) degree in the field or related fields of Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, or Information Systems. A Master’s degree is considered with industry work experience, research experience and/or prior teaching experience.
