Job Summary:

The Veterinary Technology Program is seeking adjunct faculty for the upcoming academic term with a special interest in teaching pharmacology.  Additional co-teaching responsibilities may also include clinical laboratories.  An adjunct faculty member is directly responsible and accountable for fulfillment of Program learning outcomes as well as ensuring compliance with the AVMA-CVTEA accreditation standards.  Appointments are renewed based on Program needs and teaching performance.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Additional co-teaching responsibilities may also include clinical laboratories
  • An adjunct faculty member is directly responsible and accountable for fulfillment of Program learning outcomes as well as ensuring compliance with the AVMA-CVTEA accreditation standards
  • Appointments are renewed based on Program needs and teaching performance

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least two years of clinical experience in small animal medicine required
  • Teaching experience in a veterinary technology program is preferred

Education Requirements:

  • LVT with BS in Veterinary Technology and current New York license
  • Master’s degree in a basic medical science or VTS preferred; or DVM with current New York State license
