Communication Arts Adjunct Instructor (Pool)

The Communication Arts program at Mercy University seeks part-time, adjunct instructors to teach a variety of courses to undergraduate students. Adjunct positions are filled as needed through ongoing recruitment. Applicants are contacted and hired year-round based on program needs.

The Communication Arts program consists of four different areas: Communication and Culture, Strategic Communication and Writing, Content Creation and Production, and Voice and Performance. Successful candidates may be offered the opportunity to teach up to three sections of any given course.

Please attach your current CV and brief cover letter outlining your experience teaching college-level courses or desire to do so. Please do not include any other documentation.

Schedule & Location:

  • Day and evening teaching opportunities. Courses may be offered at our campuses at Dobbs Ferry, Manhattan, The Bronx, or online

Qualifications:

  • Though teaching experience is preferred, expertise, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help students is far more important

Education Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctorate from an accredited institution in an appropriate academic discipline
