Mercy University seeks a passionate and experienced Staff Part-Time Men's Lacrosse Coach to join our Admissions & Recruitment team. This unique position combines coaching excellence with student recruitment, offering an opportunity to shape both athletic and academic success for prospective student-athletes.

About the Opportunity

As a Staff Part-Time Men's Lacrosse Coach, you'll work directly with our admissions team to identify, recruit, and develop talented student-athletes who align with Mercy University's values and academic standards. You'll play an essential role in building our men's lacrosse program while supporting our commitment to student success both on and off the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit qualified student-athletes through high school visits, tournaments, and showcases
  • Collaborate with admissions counselors to evaluate prospective students
  • Conduct coaching sessions and skill development programs
  • Build relationships with high school coaches and lacrosse organizations
  • Support current team members with academic and athletic guidance
  • Represent Mercy University at recruitment events and community functions

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Previous lacrosse coaching or playing experience at competitive levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in student recruitment or admissions preferred
  • Understanding of NCAA regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Commitment to supporting student-athlete academic achievement
