Job Summary:

The Part-Time Weekend Lab Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Simulation and Skills Lab, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment for students.

This part-time position will work on weekends and will be responsible for overseeing lab activities, preparing equipment and supplies, and providing technical support.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily lab activities on weekends, including setup and breakdown of equipment and supplies
  • Ensure the lab is clean, safe, and organized
  • Prepare and maintain lab equipment and supplies for upcoming lab sessions
  • Assist faculty and students with technical issues and equipment operation
  • Maintain inventory of lab supplies and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of lab equipment
  • Collaborate with Simulation and Skills Lab staff to ensure seamless operations

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working in a simulation lab or healthcare setting
  • Basic knowledge of simulation equipment and technology
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Availability to work on weekends (Friday Evenings, Saturday and Sunday)

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree from an accredited institution required
  • Masters of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution preferred
