Job Summary
Join Mercy University as a Staff Part-Time Proctor for the MATH & CS Department, where you’ll play
an essential role in supporting students to achieve their academic goals. This role specifically supports
and proctors online class modalities for in-person exams. This position offers flexible scheduling and the
chance to make a meaningful impact on student success.
 
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
  • Support and proctor online class modalities for in-person exams
  • Administer exams in a supportive, distraction-free environment
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with sensitive student information
  • Collaborate with MATH & CS faculty to coordinate exam schedules and requirements
  • Monitor testing sessions while providing appropriate assistance when needed
  • Document and report any testing irregularities or concerns

Required Skills & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of or willingness to learn about testing standards and protocols
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain professional boundaries
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
