Job Summary:

The Graduate Department in the School of Business at Mercy University invites applications for part-time, adjunct faculty to develop and teach specialized graduate-level Business Analytics courses. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in areas such as:

· Customer Analytics

· People (HR) Analytics

· Operations Research / Optimization

· AI and Data Analytics

· Healthcare Analytics

· Related applied analytics domains

 

Adjunct faculty will be responsible for course development (where applicable) and subsequent instruction. Courses may be delivered in multiple modalities, including in-person at the Manhattan campus and online (synchronous and/or asynchronous).

Successful candidates may be assigned up to three course assignments per term, based on program needs and enrollment.

Location

· Manhattan Campus (in-person) and Online (synchronous and/or asynchronous)

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Operations Research, or a closely related field

· Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in a business, analytics, data, or related applied setting

Preferred qualifications

Prior teaching experience at the college level, industry certifications, or demonstrated expertise in analytics tools, platforms, or methodologies relevant to the course area are preferred.

Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Student Financial Services, along with the Senior Assistant Director of Student Financial Services, the Counselor will assist with the daily operations of the Student Financial Services Offices to support the Campus Operations ensuring the professional, efficient, and compliant processing of student records. The Counselor of Student Financial Services will assist in the processing of registrations, resulting billing processes, and counseling of students and families. The Counselor will also serve as a primary member of the Student Financial Services division, ensuring student centered service in meeting the needs of traditional, non-traditional, adult and minority student populations.
