Job Summary:
The School of Health and Natural Sciences at Mercy University invites qualified candidates to be considered for the position of Adjunct Faculty of Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at our Dobbs Ferry campus.
Mercy University is a nonsectarian, nonprofit New York metropolitan area institution offering over 90 undergraduate and graduate programs. The University has an enrollment of approximately 9000 students from diverse backgrounds across four campuses in Westchester County and New York City. As Mercy University proudly serves a diverse student body and is a Federally designated Hispanic-serving institution, faculty provide students with access to a transformative education through academic quality and robust student support.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in teaching is a must
- Current Certification with NBCOT
- Teaching at the collegiate level preferred
- Commitment to working with a diverse population of undergraduate students
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Education Requirements:
- Graduate of an ACOTE accredited OT or OTA Program
- Master’s degree (OT) or a Master’s in a related field with initial certification as an OT or OTA required
- New York State License or eligibility for a NY License as an Occupational Therapist or a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
