As an Admissions Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our institution and the lives of countless students. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process with professionalism and empathy.
- Representing Mercy University at various on-campus and off-campus recruitment events, sharing our vision and values with potential applicants.
- Conducting informative presentations and workshops to educate students and their families about the university's academic programs, admissions requirements, and financial aid opportunities.
- Collaborating with academic departments and student support services to ensure a seamless transition for incoming students.
- Analyzing and interpreting data to identify recruitment trends and develop targeted strategies for enhancing our outreach efforts.
To excel in this role, you must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a genuine passion for higher education, and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity. A bachelor's degree is required, and experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field is highly preferred.
