  • Teach and oversee courses within the DNP program, integrating evidence-based practice, systems leadership, and quality improvement principles.
  • Employ high-impact teaching practices, inclusive pedagogy, and active learning strategies that support diverse learners.
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to DNP students throughout their scholarly projects.
  • Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development, program evaluation, and accreditation efforts.
  • Maintain an active presence in professional practice and scholarship consistent with the DNP program’s goals.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Teaching experience – minimum five years
  • Unencumbered NYS License
  • Experience teaching in an online format 
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

 

Education Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, EdD, DSci)

 

Physical/Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to perform tasks that may involve pushing, pulling, moving, or lifting up to 50 lbs., with reasonable accommodations as needed.
