Job Summary:

The School of Health and Natural Sciences at Mercy University is looking to hire a qualified Teaching Assistant (TA) who will provide academic and laboratory support to the laboratory instructor in the Clinical Laboratory Science Program. The TA will assist in explaining and demonstrating experiments, supervising the students, and providing feedback during the lab. The position will begin in the Fall of 2025.

  • Provide academic and laboratory support
  • Explaining and demonstrating experiments
  • Provide feedback during the laboratory

 

Required Skills & Experience:

 

  • Previous laboratory experience in clinical laboratory science
  • ASCP-certified Clinical Laboratory Scientist

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related fields is required

 

Physical/Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to meet all general health requirements for the position as per university policies
