Job Summary

Mercy University is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Coach for our Women's Flag Football team. This part-time position offers the unique opportunity to build and lead a competitive program while contributing to our student recruitment efforts. You'll work closely with our Admissions & Recruitment team to attract talented student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs and game strategies
  • Recruit prospective student-athletes through camps, showcases, and outreach events
  • Collaborate with admissions staff to support the enrollment process for team members
  • Mentor student-athletes in academic achievement and personal development
  • Manage team operations including scheduling, equipment, and budget oversight
  • Represent Mercy University at conferences, tournaments, and community events

Who We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
  • Minimum 3 years coaching experience in flag football, touch football, or related sports
  • Strong knowledge of women's flag football rules and competitive strategies
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Experience in student recruitment or admissions preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
