In this pivotal role, you will be the face of Mercy University, serving as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively convey the university's values, programs, and opportunities to a diverse applicant pool.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Actively recruit and counsel prospective students, providing comprehensive information about academic programs, admission requirements, financial aid options, and campus life.
2. Represent Mercy University at college fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events, delivering engaging presentations and building strong relationships with potential applicants.
3. Evaluate and review applications, ensuring a fair and equitable admissions process while upholding the university's high standards.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and initiatives.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with university policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree is required; experience in higher education admissions or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with student information systems or customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends to accommodate recruitment events.
