Job Summary:
The Creative Project Coordinator is an intern position for Mercy University’s Marketing and Communications department. This person should be an organized, natural multitasker with a passion for creative projects and a knack for keeping things running smoothly.
As our Creative Project Coordinator intern, you will be the linchpin that connects our talented creative teams with project goals and timelines. You'll play a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, while also managing creative budgets and coordinating with vendors.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in defining project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with creative leads and stakeholders. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
· Workflow Management: Facilitate the smooth flow of work between creative team members (e.g., designers, copywriters, videographers) by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and proactively addressing roadblocks.
· Communication Hub: Serve as the central point of contact for project-related communication, ensuring clear and consistent updates are shared with all stakeholders. Possibly organize and facilitate project meetings, document key decisions, and follow up on action items.
· Resource Management: Track and manage project resources, including budgets. Work with creative team to implement and organize the Canto DAM for photo and video content. Possibly manage creative template system, Marq.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
· Coordinating with Mercy account team members and creative vendors
· Building creative project schedules
· Making sure projects stay on schedule and move along to the right people
· Creative budget tracking
· Canto DAM organization for photo and video content
· Management of creative template system, Marq (as needs arise)
· Light design work, such as PowerPoint presentation design
Required Skills & Experience:
· Some work experience in marketing or a similar field is preferred
Education Requirements:
· Earning or have earned bachelor’s degree
